Longstride handsome and tall savannah tomRatclan tom aged 40 moons Deputy
Personality:
Longstride is a coin of two sides. In the eyes of his clan he exerts a gentle and playful kit-like quality, almost goofy in nature as he teases about. He could lay for the day with the kits, as they crawled all over them or rough-house with another warrior as practice, all while acting smaller then his size suggests.
In the same breath, Longstride can cripple or even kill cats. FishClanners are his main target, vengeful for Buzzardface but not without due cause. And while tact may not be a strong suit, he knows well not to just run head long into a fight he cannot win and has even been known to go after the weakest link to simply bring the enemy down in number. But no matter the foe, he will not back down unless all hope seems lost.
Thankfully, his viciousness stays toward the enemy and has rarely been shown toward his own Clan. Only those who threaten the lives of the whole have been given the privileged, and even then it is mere words instead of fangs and claws.
And RatClan does well to listen to his words. While he may not be strict, he knows when it is time to play and when it is time to act. In a more serious nature, he can seem cold but one can tell in his eyes he only means well.
Thanks to his size he also eats much more then the other Clan cats but its also thanks to his size that he can hunt larger prey. Longstride would personally rather spending his days hunting then patrolling or looking for trouble. Both, of which, Buzzardface taught him was a foolish thing to do and would only result in hurting himself and those around him. He takes much of what Buzzardface and Poppybreeze has taught him to heart.
Though a handsome tom, Longstride is awkward with she-cats he fancies. He has rarely been approached but does hope to one day find the one he wishes to spend the rest of his moons with.
Longstride fancies such things as rabbit hunting, kits, and spending afternoons with Poppybreeze. He strongly frowns upon FishClanners, Foxes, and Warriors who are Hellbent at getting into fights.
Appearance: Headshot Lounging Tall doesn't cover half of it. Longstride towers over many cats at 16 inches to the shoulder and is nearly 37 inches from nose to tail. Though his height may make him stand out or awkward in stalking at times, it does have its advantages. Prey that is too high for many of his smaller RatClanners, Longstride can easily catch. Predators such as Foxes and some other smaller predators can be more easily killed, as well.
He sports a beautiful short golden brown pelt fading to a lighter more tawny ginger. All along his body, including his underside, are a hodgepodge of black spots. White cuts through brown tones by outlining his bottom jaw, throat, and tail tip.
The key features of a wild cat are present in Longstride, and should he have stayed being a kittypet, his structure alone would have made him a prime example of the breed. Long and leggy, his hind legs stand higher then his font, giving him a sloped look. Large rounded ears with ocelli markings, golden hazel eyes framed with cheetah tear marks, and a strong jaw filled with large canines. Quite an unusual site for a Clan Cat to see.
However like any cat living on the streets, Longstride has chipped ears and a scar across the bridge of his nose. A handful of other scars and chips in his fur are littered about.
History: His father was home-bred wild with spotted rings. His mother looked like him, tall and regal. That's all he really knew of his parents before being handed off. He remembered his father's restless eyes and the stories he told of being free.
Then one day he saw his chance and he took it. They were trying to put him into a harness, but with a different idea in mind, the tom lept from their hands and out the door. Down the street, through yards, past buildings, everything a blur as he ran free. He faired well for the first few days, wandering and catching his meals.
He was ignorant, however, that after a week he had traveled onto FishClan Territory. A patrol found the young tom early in the morning and charged him down. Beaten and frightened, the tom once more bolted toward RatClan turf. There a patrol of smaller cats saw him but their sites had been on the FishClanners that were now on their land.
One scuffle later, the young tom was approached by a dark brown tom he would come to know as Buzzardface. His doorway into RatClan, into being a Warrior.
The small clan cats were surprised to know the runaway kittypet they found was just a kit himself. His eager and sweet nature lead him into joining, becoming apprentice under Buzzardface.
Longstride grew, quickly, to tower over the rest of the clan but was welcomed warmly into the hearts of Buzzardface and his mate, Poppybreeze. Poppybreeze was barren and was unable to have children but they both quickly adopted him as if he were their own. Cheering loudest as he became Warrior and for every great achievement.
Both warriors were not young, however, and after a particularly violent territory scuffle with FishClan, Buzzardface was crippled. His wound became infected and Buzzardface later moved onto StarClan.
Poppybreeze and Longstride mourned hard for his loss with the rest of the Clan.Several moons later, Poppybreeze retired to be an elder, where she stays. Not long after, she saw Longstride become Deputy for his bravery and skill at hunting. He visits her regularly.
Family: Buzzardface - Adopted Father, StarClan Poppybreeze - Adopted Mother, Elder, np
Notes: Longstride is an F3 Savannah with 20% Serval. His father was a Bengal and his mother a Savannah.

Looks good to me. You'll just have to be careful making his size advantage useful in scuffles without making it too unbalanced for everyone else. But, yeah. c:
Accepted.
